Just wondering what weight you guys think I should use. I live in Maryland and it gets pretty cold in the winters sometimes, just not sure which would be the best for my truck. Any help would be great, thanks.

I live in OH and run nothing but 15-40

Since you're obviously talking about a synthetic my vote is for 5w-40. I run it year round. Hot summers and butt cold winters with no issues. Cold starts are much better than 15w-40 dino oil, but I've never tried 15w-40 synthetic. I can tell you my 6.0 loves the synthetic...

5-40 Synthetic here
I use the Rotella 5-40 synthetic year round here in Fairbanks... during winter it really pays... I would use a 15-40 synthetic during the summer but I can't find it anywhere, so rather than mix dino and synthetic every fall/spring, I just stick to my synthetic... definitely quieted it down a bit during winter!!

I would have to agree on the 5w-40 syn. I run Mobil 1 its just readily available for me in CT. Would love to run Amsoil but I just haven't looked for a distributor yet.

I am runnin 5W-30 Amsoil. I figured the thinner the oil I run in the winter the better. It was about 30 degrees here last night.
