2001 missing in the morning until water temp comes up

I have a 2001 that will start fine in the morning and even in warm weather will miss for a little until the truck is warm about a mile or so down the road. It acts like something all of a sudden open up with the go pedal at the same position and it takes off all of a sudden.....good to go the rest of the day it will do it a little if I let it cool off for about 4 hours or so. I have cleaned the IPR valve and have no trouble starting cold or warm. I plugged it in for a night to keep the water warm and it started put it in gear and took off with no missing problems.

Question could this be an injector needing warm oil to fire properly or could this just be a glow plug/relay issue?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
