Got waved down today

Driving thru Wal-mart parking lot and come upon a finder binder. A truck and a van decided to see which was the toughest...neither won. The guy driving one vehicle (a 2 wheel drive truck) asked me to pull his bumper out as it was against his tire. So I backed up to it and he hooked a snatch rope up to his bumper and the other end to my hitch. I slowly began pulling it and the bumper bent out, but not far enough before it cut the snatch rope. I had a logging chain, so we hooked it up. Again I began to pull and it bent his bumper in half. I was barely giving it gas. If the bumper hadn't bent, I would have very quickly been pulling the whole truck sideways. As a matter of fact, I believe it did move it sideways just a hair before the bumper bent.

I had a bumper I bent on my 89 chevy 3/4 4x4 i chained to a tree and had to get a running start backwards in 4 low to get it to bend otherwise it just sat there spinning so you probably did pull it sideways a little
