I was driving last night and I noticed something was wrong earlier and the steering got tighter and tighter. Then I got almost to where I was going and I was sitting at a light and I just rotated my wheels in place from right to left and then I heard a LOUD pop noise. After that I turned and my truck wobbles real bad and I went out this morning to check stuff and wheels are tight no play in them that I found. Sitting in place it will let me turn my wheel to the right, but not the left. Any info please

You can disconnect the pitman arm from the steering system and see if it turns, the pitman arm has a balljoint in it as well so maybe something happened with the joints within the system.

If it turns fine then you have something wrong in your steering. could be a tie rod or a ball joint. |
