I run a Banks IC, boost tubes, and the big air intake manifold. Love 'em.

I had the 6-gun. It was OK, but I didn't like the way it defuel and made my tranny feel like it was slipping. I removed it, but was gonna keep the gauges, but they are electronic and have to work with the 6-gun, so I removed them as well.

I had a Banks air intake kit, but recently traded it to go back to stock for the time being.

Anytime I ever had a problem with my Banks system and I called them, they always took care of me. They even sent me a new pass. side boost tube free of charge because of a bad boot design at the turbo, so they sent me the new design tube & boot.

Their boots are really not the best IMO. They are silicone based and with the oily residue from the CC, they get real slick and loose their ability to hold on.

Overall, they do make some good stuff, maybe a little pricey, but that is the fault of the person who buys it without knowing any better or doing their homework first.

Oh, and to the guy saying he is getting mpg out of his truck with his banks super whatever tuner, seriously man.. you might have seen that once on a 50mph trip with a tailwind going down hill or something like that, but there is no way in any real everyday situation you would ever see that kind of mileage with an 8k pound truck.. period..
So your throwing the BS flag on me??? Your an idiot you know that I do get almost 25 out of mine with no tuner and driving conservatively not mashing the gas to the floor, maybe you should read also all i have is the banks monster exhaust and a K&N Filter. So next time you call some one out make sure you know what your talking about collinmitchell111!!! Your probably older then me so you think your more wise then me but it is possible to get 25 mpg out of a 8000lbs truck if you drive it and not hotrod it!!! I should get my uncle on here my uncle could tell you just bought an 02 just like mine and gets 23 stock!!! SO yeah back to the point this thread has gone to CRAP so I'm done your all a bunch of children at least some of you (this coming from a 20yr old) so I'm out!!!

Lets knock it off guys. Some of yall are starting to turn this thread in to exactly the opposite of what the whole point of it was. Looks like if the point of a thread is to try to stop bashing on parts brands that many of us have not tried then we had better move to bashing on other members that we havent met.

We are better then this!

No, you never did anything wrong & yes; Ryan is right. It's people like mrnecsteve that's starting to ruin it & he should just move onto another thread instead of trying to turn this one into another clown circus. It was going pretty good otherwise.

Guys this thread is getting way off base and please watch the personal attacks. There is no need for name-calling. This thread started out on a very good note and if it can get back to that point I will let it stay but if it keeps going down this path, I will close it down. Personal attacks will not be tolerated. Please be civil to each other. I appreciate all of the mature postings here. Let's keep this going in the right direction please.
