If those responsible bothered reading any of my posts, they'd realize I'm not seeking out smpathy for Banks, I'm seeking out support for whatever Banks parts I have installed on my rig & no longer have it due to these reasons. This isn't a "vote for Gale Banks" thread by any means. It's the fact that people just want to start trouble everytime they see the name Banks posted anywhere & it kinda ruins it for the members that have Banks stuff & could possibly use some help in getting info on their parts, or replacing something that either was delivered damaged or they damaged themselves. The same would go for anyone who uses Edge or BullyDog. Should I start a Edge/BullyDog "sympathy" thread too because the bashers don't seem to grasp what I'm trying to get @? Y'all think I'm trying to stick up for Banks alone. As stated I'D BE PUTTING IN A BIGGER PLUG FOR THE OTHER FROWNED UPON PERFORMANCE COMPANIES, BUT I DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT THEM. Is this clear enough? Should I try posting it in Spanish or Chinese, too?

I've seen plenty of Edge/BullyDog threads too, where someone has a tech question on either installing whatever they had or even more simple than that & you already have 5 or 6 members going; "Aw, they suck, get this, get that". Whether it's Banks, Edge, BullyDog, GlowShift, ATS, K&N, etc., you can't ask simple questions which in turn, you can't learn anything off the forum unless it's a part that everybody else has. It seems it's a strictly DP, TW, BTS, SCT, John Wood, or AFE forum lately. If you have anything else, you might as well get out because God forbid if you have anything else, you'll be pulled through the ringer.

ONCE AGAIN: I'M NOT TRYING TO STICK UP FOR BANKS; I'M TRYING TO STICK UP FOR THE PEOPLE THAT CAN'T GET THE SUPPORT THEY NEED BECAUSE IT ISN'T A "MEMBER APPROVED" PERFORMANCE PART. BANKS JUST HAPPENS TO BE THE PRIME EXAMPLE.

How the hell else can I dice this?????
I have said my peace. I got to stop talkin smack about Edge now. There is absolutely no reason to talk crap about something I havent even tried.

I get the reasoning behind the thread. I would however suggest that people read the whole thread before posting on it for the first time!

Thats not it at all. I had a Big Hoss which was ok. Never had problems but nearly an unnoticeable amount of added power. I also had a Transcommand which was complete junk. After electronic problems fried 3, yes 3 of my transmissions in under 15k miles, my tranny guys linked it to the transcommand. Took it off, and tranny has worked perfect ever sense. So yeah I do express my displeasure with Banks. I have used the stuff and dont recommend it what-so-ever. The thing in my sig about the Banks stickers is because I have Banks stickers with no Banks parts anymore.

I don't know how I missed this post, but this is the #1 insult I love hearing. You know, there was this thread I had posted on a while ago where another member had said something I had disagreed with, completely non-Banks related. When I had posted I disagreed with him, he automatically went for the old Banks' sticker insult as his only pathetic defense. How mature. Where did Banks ever post that his stickers add HP? You do know other performance brands give stickers too, right? Can I insult other people with those other stickers that I hope they add HP like Banks?

Thanks for clearing that up, GM Duraturd. You answered a question we had. I also appreciate the fact that you expressed your experience with Banks in a mature manner stating you had the displeasure & wouldn't recommend Banks instead of going on a rampage. Honest! I swear, I'm not trying to bust your b@lls, I really appreciate your mature response!

Oh, and to the guy saying he is getting 25mpg out of his truck with his banks super whatever tuner, seriously man.. you might have seen that once on a 50mph trip with a tailwind going down hill or something like that, but there is no way in any real everyday situation you would ever see that kind of mileage with an 8k pound truck.. period..
dude my dads old qc lb 5spd cummins got 30mpg hand calculated and it weighed somewhere around 8500lbs so its possible i know that was with a completly different motor but you said it wasnt gonna happen with that much wieght and my old boss's 6.0 cc lb f350 with a tool body 6in lift 315 70 17 allterains and a banks programmer gets 22 hand calculated

well my .02 is that banks electronics are terrible absolutely the worst I have ever used. But all of their hard parts like the cooler and exhaust and the turbo have never let me down and seem to be built with the utmost quality. So I never had anything against them

I had a 6-gun on my truck for a couple of months. I never had a problem with it. I just found a guy who wanted to swap it for a TS chip so I did.

Dude, I know. You were the only example I could've used, surprisingly. I was expecting this thread to be riddled with sticker jokes. Don't take offense, man. I also caught your 1st post & it was appreciated.

According to the new smog test in California, BANKS is the only aftermarket company that you can use and still pass. BANKS does not want to affiliate itself with illegal aftermarket products or sponsors such as on this site. The new smog law is total BS.
