We all have our oppions and maybe it should stay that way just tell the guy what your probleam was with them and not just recomend something else or ask them what they plan to use there truck for like I said before I dont use my truck the same way as all of you do. So Voice your oppinon on them but bashing them totaly is the wrong thing. Ill tell you what I have one reason y I will buy from Banks all of their parts are still made in the USA!!! So lets just stop with this little whininy girl additudes be men voice your opinon but dont drive away customers from a buisness that has been good for some and bad for others. There is one way to learn in this world and that is by making mistakes and finding out for your self, i would probably be a really wreckless driver if it wasnt for the acident i got into with my fathers truck. So let them learn and make there own oppinons too. OK?????

Did anyone think that maybe Banks just got tired of paying the rent? Its 150 bucks a month to sponsor this site alone as a vendor Member. If you go up to a Premium Vendor its 250 a month. Businesses have to weigh their investments especially now. If its not creating the return they want they pack up and move on. If you figure 250 a month for every site out there (well over 100) thats alot of dough.

I have bashed banks tuners because I have had one. My truck came with a 6 Gun and I hated it. I wanted a chip or tuner that took care of everything. With banks I had to get the trans command and the big hoss in order to achieve that. Then I went to Edge, I hated the way my tranny acted. It was unpleasent.

I do however like Bank's new Cool Cuff design for their exhausts. I don't know how many times I have been too close to a tail pipe and got burned. If I could afford it, I'd have it

I am kind of glad everyone voicing their opinions about banks tuners sucking. I am getting ready to buy a tuner/chip and if i didnt know any better, I would probably bought a banks tuner not knowing any better.. Now I will buy a TW after hearing hundereds of people tell me that their tuners are way way inferior compared to the TW.

Oh, and to the guy saying he is getting 25mpg out of his truck with his banks super whatever tuner, seriously man.. you might have seen that once on a 50mph trip with a tailwind going down hill or something like that, but there is no way in any real everyday situation you would ever see that kind of mileage with an 8k pound truck.. period..

I still don't understand where the whole "Banks' sympathy" comes from. It seems like the people that come up with the sympathy spiel are just reading the 1st couple of posts & just want to make trouble because it's a Banks thread. If those responsible bothered reading any of my posts, they'd realize I'm not seeking out smpathy for Banks, I'm seeking out support for whatever Banks parts I have installed on my rig & no longer have it due to these reasons. This isn't a "vote for Gale Banks" thread by any means. It's the fact that people just want to start trouble everytime they see the name Banks posted anywhere & it kinda ruins it for the members that have Banks stuff & could possibly use some help in getting info on their parts, or replacing something that either was delivered damaged or they damaged themselves. The same would go for anyone who uses Edge or BullyDog. Should I start a Edge/BullyDog "sympathy" thread too because the bashers don't seem to grasp what I'm trying to get @? Y'all think I'm trying to stick up for Banks alone. As stated I'D BE PUTTING IN A BIGGER PLUG FOR THE OTHER FROWNED UPON PERFORMANCE COMPANIES, BUT I DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT THEM. Is this clear enough? Should I try posting it in Spanish or Chinese, too?

I've seen plenty of Edge/BullyDog threads too, where someone has a tech question on either installing whatever they had or even more simple than that & you already have 5 or 6 members going; "Aw, they suck, get this, get that". Whether it's Banks, Edge, BullyDog, GlowShift, ATS, K&N, etc., you can't ask simple questions which in turn, you can't learn anything off the forum unless it's a part that everybody else has. It seems it's a strictly DP, TW, BTS, SCT, John Wood, or AFE forum lately. If you have anything else, you might as well get out because God forbid if you have anything else, you'll be pulled through the ringer.

ONCE AGAIN: I'M NOT TRYING TO STICK UP FOR BANKS; I'M TRYING TO STICK UP FOR THE PEOPLE THAT CAN'T GET THE SUPPORT THEY NEED BECAUSE IT ISN'T A "MEMBER APPROVED" PERFORMANCE PART. BANKS JUST HAPPENS TO BE THE PRIME EXAMPLE.

How the hell else can I dice this?????

^ I see this all the time with the 6.4 problem threads. Someone comes on descibing their 6.4 issue and the next 5 post are, "DPF delete it and get a Spartan tuner" instead of getting help on fixing the problem. There still are people here that are just fine with a stock truck and have no intensions of modding it.
