144 mpg?

I picked up July's 8 lug the other day and they claim the truck on the cover is getting 144 mpg off veggie oil. I only picked up the magazine to learn more just to find out that it was more about getting the truck to a photo shoot then the mechanical of the truck itself. Is this possible? I've looked everywhere and can't find anything about it except that DF makes a good product but nothing bout mileage.

It's getting 144 miles per gallon of diesel used probly, it runs veggie 90% of the time but still needs some diesel for starting and such right?

ya 144 miles per gallon of diesel burned, the rest is using veggie, 144 mpg is physically impossible on a 9000 pound truck

Might get 144mpg if it was being pulled by another truck.
