new 2014 F550 lariat

It will eventually get a 9.5' aluminum dump body installed on it by a custom installer in north jersey.

Truck was built and delivered to dealer in Ohio on 2/5/2014, we picked it up april 5th to bring it to NJ.

loaded except no chrome step rails "which i would have liked lol", has no moonroof.

The split fold front seats are like bucket seats but has the middle, which folds up and down for storage which is a lot nicer than the older versions on the trucks.

Truck is STILL waiting in line to get the custom aluminum body installed... they told me about 10 weeks and that was after i had a quote already done and sent the installer a deposit April 5th 2014. its almost 4 months later... so now 16 weeks, no use for the truck, and cant pull anything with it because the hitch plate assembly will be installed with the body.

We bought extra boss snow plows in early march this year too, since some of ours were broken or damaged and awaiting parts that were backordered. so this will have a new, used one time this past season, 9'2" Boss DXT red trip edge plow installed on it as soon as the body is done.

Will get the front windows tinted too :p.

Going to be ordering one like that here real soon. I just hate that they'll color match the door handles but not the flares.

I would have to take the flares off to get them painted (like they did on my truck).

All F550s are either 17,900 or 19,500 i believe. Gearing change only, this truck has 4.56s in it i think too, which is the shortest gear ratio. Its a 19,500... which we've had our 07/08s at 17,900 or 19,500 way loaded to 21k, 22k, 24k even and besides the fact that they become super unsafe in an emergency stopping situation "even with Hawk SD pads and powerslot rotors", they handle and have enough power to carry that weight.

If they made a larger braking system, bigger calipers, 1" bigger rotors maybe, the gwv could be higher than 19,500. don't need a CDL but in NJ, cops sometimes technically say you need a CDL to drive an F550 pulling ANy trailer, because even a cheap landscape trailer is usually a dual 3500lb axle open trailer and 7k + anything over 19k , even 19,001 is over the 26k cdl requirement.

Thanks, i was originally looking for a extended cab XLT loaded up, but anything besides an xl is hard to find and with a 14 month old now, i figured it will be easier over the next several years anyway especially when snow plowing in the winter time. Any future work trucks will likely be single cab or extended cab XLTs since no one, including myself, needs as much stuff as came on this truck.
