Good Price for Used 2013 Platinum?

I have been looking for a 2014 NEW Platinum but came across a 2013 USED with only 18k miles.

The truck has everything I want, except for the color which I can live with.

The truck is in good condition, but they are as $52,695 for it... That said with the Ford Invoice - Rebates - College Discount - Ford Cash... As NEW 2014 is within about a thousand of that...

The truck has an MSRP of $64.3k... What do you guys feel would be a good price on the 13' with the rebates being so strong on the 2014s?

My 2013 Platinum was listed new at $52,865. Does this guy have $20,000 worth of aftermarket equipment on the used 2013? I can't imagine anyone in their right mind to expect that much from selling a used 2013, unless they did. I wouldn't pay more than 45k for the used 2013 Platinum...

I went through the same debate. It just doesn't make since to buy a used one when they're asking within a few grand of new. If you're willing to make a drive to Texas check out Holiday Ford. Here's a 2015 Platinum new for $53k.

Was this the negotiated price or the MSRP?

The MSRP on a 2014 Platinum I was looking at was like $65k.

No aftermarket and it's from a dealer.... I was thinking of going in and offered $46-$47k beating new by 5k... If I can't save that, thm it's just not worth it.

Wow! No aftermarket? The MSRP for mine was 65k and the advertised price was $52,865. It's not uncommon to see prices like that in Texas. I've seen brand new Platinum's for under 52k around here. I wouldn't pay more than 45k for that used 2013 and it would have to be in immaculate condition. If they won't come down, buy the new one and just know it's all yours...

What the hell!?!? I paid $52,000 for my 2011 Lariat in July 2011. Maybe I need to wait for a slightly later model of the year I'm buying. The MSRP for mine at the time was $61,500, I used X-plan pricing plus dealer incentives and customer cash to get it there. Did the prices come down any?

I think the dealership plays a big role in this particular situation. My dealership has unusually low prices in comparison to dealerships in the same area. I bought my 2013 in October 2013. Check out Mac Haik Ford...
