First Tow after Deleting

I'm hooking up my 30 ft TT tomorrow to take the family for a quick trip to the farm. I made the trip a month ago and averaged 10.5 mpg over the 240 mile round trip. The trailer weighs 5900 empty but I fill with 40 gallons of water and lots of other stuff so I'm guessing it weighs in around 7000lbs or so. I'll report back on Sunday with results. I'm running the Punch it Performance tow tune, a 51" Donaldson muffler and EGR blocker plates.

You sig doesn't show what year truck you have, gearing, mods ect. It makes it helpful for us to know what you're running with.

At the top of this page, go to "user CP" (control panel). Then on the left hand side go down to the box that says "settings and options", the second one down in that box says "edit signature".
I hope that helps. It'll save you having to repeat it a bunch of times.

So far so good. Man it tows awesome withe the delete setup. This tow tune is spot on. Averaged 12.5 mpg for the first half of the trip. I'll report back when I get home. One thing that I noticed empty and towing is that boost runs 1-3 psi lower under the same conditions from before the delete. That should bode well for the engine and turbo life.

Home now. Averaged 12 mpg for the entire trip. That's 1.5 mpg better than stock. Again, my setup is awesome for towing. The PIP tune is smooth and shifting is good. Max oil temps were around 212f. Max transmission temps were around 205F. I ran 65 mph 95% of the trip. Ambient temps are in the mid to upper 80s. Not much wind for once.
