Edge CTS

I know. Stupid question, but I can't seem to find the answers. Does the Edge do any tuning at all? I'm Strictly looking for gauges. Something to monitor my truck. Can someone please give me a straight answers? If it doesn't tune or change anything it shouldn't void warranty. Correct?

The edge cts is imo the best monitor system you can get for everyday use. No warranty issues at all.

No the CTS doesn't tune just monitor. Edge does make a tuner to but it's a pos and I can't quite remember what the name is.

Just make sure you get the Insight CTS. Purely for gauges as stated above. I have one and like it. It does get a little pricey adding all the other stuff to it so keep that in mind.

Well the Insight itself monitor quite a few PID's through your OBD2 port. There are some things it can't monitor unless you have the add on kits.

For instance, I wanted to be able to monitor my EGT's which is important. So for that I needed they Pyro probe kit. I also want to keep an eye on my tranny temp so I got the temp sensor kit. I also got one for something else but I can't remember what right now. And then to hook all those up you need the edge starter kit. So all that stuff added to the price. It really depends on what you want to monitor.

Ok here is the only downfall with the CTS in my opinion. They don't make an actual mount made specifically for the CTS. You have to buy the mount for the CS and then the adapter for the CTS. The part that sucks is that it doesn't sit in there flush like the CS. The whole screen of the CTS sticks way out past the mount surface.
