Plasti Dipped grille and emblem on '13 KR

I think this is my first thread on here but I lurk quite often. Anyway, I just finished my first mod to my King Ranch today and thought I would post up some photos. I Plasti dipped the grille and front emblem, I'm loving the emblem so far, just have to figure out how to do the back one now. The grille I also like but don't know if I will keep it forever. I was just ready for something different and this only cost me about $30.

Let me know what you think.

It looks better than stock, but I would do a gloss finish on the grille inserts. Maybe even paint the grille inserts and lower valence tan to match truck's undertone...

I agree, I would like to get it more glossy but plasti dip is just a flat color. I used the glossifier spray as well and that helped but only to make it a matte/egg shell gloss.

I'm going to redo the emblem with actual tuxedo black from Ford in time but this was to test it out to see if I liked the black over chrome on the grill. I hadn't even planned to do the emblem until I realized it all came apart. All in all, this whole project cost me about $30 and 1 day of time. Plus it was nice to learn how to take off the grill and everything apart.

As of now, I'm going to leave it like this for a while until I re-paint the emblem tuxedo black and then most likely strip the grille.
