Painting a 5" flo pro exhaust

I'm gonna be switching from a 4" exhaust to the 5" flo pro with muffler. I'm in the process of painting it. I got the stainless exhaust but I know it's gonna get surface rust eventually like my current exhaust. I Degreased it and sanded it with 100 grit sandpaper. Now it has 2 coats of vht high temp primer. I'm gonna let it sit a week before I hit it with vht high temp black. Will be about a month before I get it done and on the truck. Wondering if anyone else has experience with painting their stainless exhaust and how it turned out. Will update when I figure out if this time in prepping and painting the exhaust is worth it or not.

I paint my pipe from the top of the axle back with high heat black because it looks kind of bad and the rest of the exhaust I cannot see. I think it makes a big difference looking from the back.
