new '13 pricing

Ive been in the market for my first diesel truck. Ive always been a Ford guy. I looked at some '14 F250's at my local dealership. But they also had a '13 with all the options I wanted and brand new. It is Ignot silver with black leather. It is has the lariat ultimate package as well as the FX4 offroad package. The sticker on it was 55k but what would you guys think would be a good deal on it?

WELCOME to the site!. Id say go back and check it out...work on the guy. Take it for a test drive. But with it being a '13 you know they are trying to get rid of it. Id try to get below 50k. Heck it would be a game just too see what you could get away with. I like to go to another dealer and pick up some flyers, say on the new Dodge Ram. Well I like to put the flyer in the dash for the other salesmen too see....makes them think your not afraid too look somewere else.
Remember its the dealers job to get you to pay as much as possible.....

I'd try lower than that. There are ~$4,500 worth of incentives on the '14s, and you can always come up if you need/want to. I'd start at around $43k, and I don't think think I'd go more than about 46. If they want more than that, tell 'em to trot out a '14.

The salesman I have bought all of my cars from works at this dealership. So I called him and left him a message telling him Ill come in the morning to check it out. If I can get it around 45k I will have a new truck tomorrow.

Since its a '13, I would do $43 tops and that would be Out the Door price.

I would shoot for as close to 40 as you can get. I paid $53,600, my sticker was $61,200 and this was 14 months ago. Good luck and

A dealership near me is selling a 2015 Lariat Ultimate for $52,869, so I'd have to agree with the others that the REAL low 40s would be about right.
There are actually two at that price right now. New 2015 Ford Super Duty F-250 Lariat
