Question about changing wheels/tires

I went from 275/70/18 stock tires to 275/65/20 which in my estimation are only about 1/2in taller

So here is my question... Do I need to have the computer reflashed for this new size or will it be ok?

The reason I ask is with the new tires I picked up a wierd vibration in 6th gear but not in 5th. I thought maybe the tranny was confused.

tx

you went from a 33.1 to a 34.2 tire but there is no need to reflash, your shift pattern is probably slightly off now because of the added weight and your speedo being of by 2mph or so. Put some miles on the combo and your trans will adapt

I'd say no, I went from the smallest tires you can get on our trucks to 35s and I drove like that for 40,000 miles with no issues bone stock.

Buy American!

Ok thanks... I am having the tires re-balanced to see if that helps.
