I liked the car allot, but the wife is pregnant, so I needed to get her into something more comfortable.

No way I would give up my Shelby for a SD. I am having a hard enough time talking myself into giving up the 5.0 I daily to get another Powerstroke since my old lady says I don't need 3 vehicles. Congrats on the baby, 20 years from now you with giving him/her a hard time about how you wish you had that car back.

Yeah, it was tough. I kinda got a sick feeling when I got out of it for the last time, but when I was driving off in the new SD all my worries faded.

$58,000. It's not a car I would buy for anyone that is inexperienced with high HP vehicles. I'm not talking corvette or camaro as those feel very mild when compared to the 13/14 Shelby. The car is very raw and has the tendency to break loose and when this happens you better have the nose pointed where you want the car going, because when you let out and it grabs again, that's the direction your going. TC is a joke, the car will just run right through it. To be honest it rides allot like a mid 90's sports car. You feel every flaw int he road as it follows the tracks. Clutch is also pretty stiff can be a little hard for a woman to work smoothly. If wanting to get her a Shelby you should opt for the 07-12 years as they are much more mild.

Owning one I can tell you my kids will need to be pretty old before I would even let them drive it with me in the passenger seat. It's a car that will kill you if you don't show it the respect it deserves.
