4.30 gears and 22s/37s on 14 Platinum

Can't wait pick my truck up tomorrow! It came with 3.55 gears. Just thought it was lacking low end power from the start. 4.30 gears 22x10.5 BMFs and 37 Toyo Mts. And front and rear Mag Hytec diff covers and Amsoil fluid. Had to do a Hypertech Speedo calibrater, b/c everyone said it would go into Limp Mode if not. Apparently it reads off the drive shaft and rear axle. So I hope no warning light and it runs like a beast. I'll keep ya posted.

No Lift? With that tire/wheel combo, I would think you'd need at least a 4-6" lift

Alright, now it all makes sense.

Guess you're not real worried about good mpg's.

I think the 4.30's are going to be too far the other direction, I've got 37's on 3.73's and the gearing is plenty low enough, any lower and you'd want to start in 2nd or 3rd gear to actually put power down instead or just rapping through 1st and 2nd to get up to 15mph lol
