2015 Extended Warranty More a Expensive??

Anybody price out the extended warranty on the 2015s? For a 84 month/125k miles, mine was a little over $3k...that's almost $1k more than on my 12 F-250. Anybody have any thoughts?

I have what it costs the dealer (I get them at dealer cost and can get you one at $100 over cost. Scott's finance guys couldn't even touch the price).. give me a few hours and I'll post it. I'm getting the 84 month 125k esp.

Dealer cost:

7yr/125k, Premium ESP, $100 deductible, FIRST DAY RENTAL $2,650
*First day rental covers $30 per day for 10 days.

7yr/125k, Premium ESP, $100 deductible, ENHANCED FIRST DAY RENTAL $2,820
*Enhanced rental covers $75 per day for 10 days.

Frankly I'm tired of getting Toyota Corollas for rentals.. Fitting 2 car seats in there and doing my every day business just doesn't work. I'll be getting the enhanced so I can get a SUV for a rental.

Again, these prices are dealer cost, add $100 to those and that's what I can get you if interested.

Also, the cost on the 15s is the same as the 14s.. not sure about the 12s.

If I wanted to buy this, who do you guys recommend we buy through? I assume I can buy it from one dealer and it is good at any ford.

I was thinking about chipping my truck but for the price of a turbo (less actually), I can get my truck covered for a good while.

I'll PM you his number and you can do everything over the phone. He'll then mail you a copy of the contract or send it via PDF. I've bought 2 through him and have sent dozens of people his way. Great guy, straight forward and like I said, $100 over cost, no games.

Yes, it is honored at every Ford dealer.

When I closed on my 2015 F350 Lariat 4x2 Diesel today, my dealer charged me $2047 for the first option above.

Then he sold it to you under his cost and made it up on the sale of the truck. There is about a $300 difference on a 4x4 price over a 4x2 and the pricing I quoted was for 4x4.

Does premium esp warranty mean bumper to bumper? If so, what should I pay for a 5 year warranty? There's no chance I'll have the truck more than 5 years.

Lombard Ford price for the 4x2 ESP is $2490.

The cost of the truck had a list of $62,660 without advertising of 945 and fuel of 148. The total cost after Ford discounts was 57,999 with delivery, adv and fuel. With the fuel and adv cost, NADA showed the same price on their website.

Add taxes, doc fees, title and Less a 26,500 trade, 2500 rebates and incentives it was $30,145.00. With the ESP, I financed $32,192.00.

I anticipate the dealer will make 2500-2750 on my trade. This with his hold back is where they will make their money.

I also got the $750 Military appreciate cash.

Almost bumper to bumper.. it covers over 1,000 components and is the only one worth anyone's consideration in my opinion.

Coverage: http://owner.ford.com/Storage/mfMmed...20Brochure.pdf

I couldn't tell you 5 years because I didn't get cost quoted on 5 years. I do have the 6 year costs..

Same options/ded etc as above

6yr/125k 1st day $2,210
6yr/125k enhanced $2,380

Again those are dealer cost and for a 4x4 vehicle.

Based on looking at other quotes from online dealers, there is a $200 difference between the 5yr/125k and 6 yr/125k. There is a $675 difference between 125k and 100k. So based on that, you'd be looking at roughly (again, not an exact price).

5yr/100k $1,540
5yr/100k enhanced $1,710
5yr/125k $2,010
5yr/125k enhanced $2,180
