Im going back to a 6.7L

Well, after a little over a year away from the diesel game. Im dropping the ecoturd F-1sh*ty tomorrow and picking up a 2014 that's very similar to my old 2011. Can not wait to have a diesel back. Ill post pics over the weekend.

What did you dislike about the ecoboost if you don't mind me asking?

Hell yeah man! Was wondering when you were going to get back into the game! Honestly, I didn't know that you sold your RC diesel. Glad to see you're coming back home.

I drove an EcoBoost for 2 years and 38k miles and I thought the concept was awesome. However I had lots of issues and ended up trading up to my 6.7 when I started getting so much fuel in the oil that was having to change the oil every 2000 miles. The power was great and mileage was ok (not as advertised though). I really liked the f150 platform but I'm a diesel junky at heart. I love my 6.7. No issues so far at 18k miles.

The ecoboost is good for what it is. I dont drive it everyday. It was too smart for me. I like the basics, I want a truck tl feel like a truck. Not wanting to blast on the ecoboost, its just not for me. Diesel junky at heart and sold my last one to pay some bills off and pay for wedding. Now that wedding is over. Im back... waiting to hear back from buddy with business because he has two minimaxxs sitting at the shop. Hopefully after about 1000 miles on her ill be running some tunes again. Long term goal. Single turbo.

Congrats on getting back to diesel! I just got rid of my 2011 diesel. I loved that freaking truck but got tired of paying to repair everything but the motor and tranny. Granted some of that is my fault for not getting the extended warranty.

So I am in an F150 for a while until I need the bigger truck again. Good news is that I now have a 5.0 18 years after originally coveting one. And it isn't in a mustang.
