I'm not a fan of the wastegate screech that comes with a deleted 6.7 without a muffler. Also, I may be able to trick people into thinking a 51" Donaldson muffler is actually a DPF...

Here's a couple examples of deleted 6.7's with straight pipe...

Here's a deleted 6.0 with muffler...

Well it's good to know that it should work because I placed the order last night...

I felt the need to start this thread just in case I missed something, but it sounds like I'll be okay.

Do you think the muffler will cause any issues down the line?...A loss in performance?...A need for maintenance?

I was thinking there could be clogging due to soot build-up or something, but as far as the sounds goes, that's what I'm looking for.

I wouldnt be worried about the delete pipe and dpf back not working. I did the same with my truck except used a diamond eye delete pipe and dpf back. As for issues with the muffler i couldnt tell you if there are any issues but it looks like alot of people run that muffler so there shouldnt be any issues there.

You'll love the 51". You made the right choice. These mufflers will eventually "burn out" kind of like a glasspack, but they will provide many years of good service before you'd have to change one out.

The dual's will be sweet. Post pics when you git er done!
