2015 turbo on a 2013

My '13 6.7 has turbo surge issues and I'm curious if the '15 turbo will be compatible with the older model 6.7s?

I think anyting is possible with tuning, Im more curious what the 15 will have for exhaust manifolds and turbo mounting, the problem we run into with the 11-14 trucks is the goofy turbo with 2 inlets on the turbine side. I wonder if the 15+ trucks will stick with this goofy azz setup or go to the tradition single in mount. I think either way if tuning is involved and possible exh/int mounting issues your better off looking into an aftermarket solution for a different turbo. I been looking into the MPD kits, I really like what they have done with the exhaust for their kit. It changes you over to a T4 flange so you can run virtually any aftermarket turbo with that flange style and the kit also has the option of going with a 63 or 66mm turbo, Im pretty sure the 15s will have a 67mm so this kit is going to be close. If the 15 turbo is a drop in swap it might be worth it, if not then Id look into the MPD kit.

Once they actually release the 15 info someone will be able to answer. In the meantime its all speculation.
