It will not cause problems with tpms. Air is 80% nitrogen. Air is fine. You won't know a difference anyways.

I just got new wheels and my tire guy told me not to bother. he said on our trucks we play with tire pressures to much to justify the tiny supposed benefit no mention of tpms issues either. I personaly don't know otherwise but I do know my truck never came from the factory with it. and judging by the name you own a 93 cobra? can a pic of your truck with the new wheels and your cobra be to much to ask?

I am a huge fan of fox's the 93 cobra in particular. I have a 93 lx that I made the mistake of putting a roll cage in and nitrous and am drag racing it. love racing but regret changing it as it's a mint low mile car.

I would like to try using nitrogen someday. It adds the advantage of non-combustibility and the powerstrokehelp.com guy swears by it's ability to improve fuel economy when filled to max tire capacity. I wouldn't think it could affect the tpms for it measures in psi, not just the psi of air...Right? Technically, couldn't you fill the tires with helium and still only be able to reach the maximum psi of the tire?
