Sorry , have to ask

Has anyone on a 13 or 14 had an 02 sensor go?

The longer I own my truck, the more nervous I get about all the sensors......

I know the answer is to delete, but it brand new!

I am almost ready to trade it for a tuxedo black Raptor!

Sorry, I had an AWFUL experience with a dealer over the last few weeks just trying to get this sensor changed.

If you're talking about sensors in the exhaust, you have EGT, NOx and particulate. I had an EGT sensor fail. Truck ran fine. Was changed out with zero issues. it's a bummer you're having an issue.

I had an 02 sensor go, long painful story, I'm in a ford loaner rig right now, but one of the guys at the dealer said it's pretty rare to see an 02 sensor go bad, so I was curious if anyone else had the same.

I thought if one of your EGT sensors went bad the truck would depower then basically stop running?

All these sensors and stuff are pain but things happen. Id keep it for now and see what happens.

Raptors are nasty though. Would love one but could never own a truck with that tiny bed.

I had an exhaust sensor go bad. CEL came on. No big deal. Had it fixed a week later and ran fine in the mean time.

That was my only real issue in my now 29k miles on my 2013. Truck is very solid. Raptors are cool but I like a modded f250 over a raptor any day. These diesels are great size for a truck. Just a beast of a truck in every single way.

I guess I just fear being out hunting in montana when it's real cold and having a sensor go bad and leaving me stranded, sound stupid I know. I've spent too much time on this forum reading and got a bit spooked.

Drove the Raptor, and liked it.

I'm not giving up yet though.

Sorry I have to ask. What the heck are you doing driving a brand new f-350 if a raptor will do what you need out of a truck? Considering the raptor can hardly do anything for the size of the truck other than off road. Not bashing the raptor it's a sick truck but is not in any way shape or form comparable to a superduty two totally different animals.
