steering wheel removal

How hard is it to remove steering wheel from 2012 F350 . Wheel has controls volume controls etc. How long does it take.

Prob very easy. there are little holes on the side of the wheel you stick a clothes hangar in and it pops the airbag out.

Be sure to disconnect battery's and let them discharge so you dont accidentally set off airbag.

You should pull the airbag fuse as well I think. And wait about 20-30 minutes after disconnecting the batteries before pulling the bag. I'm pretty sure it's safe after 15 minutes but I'm not a fan of getting punched in the face, as I'm sure you aren't either, so better safe than sorry.

This post has got me thinking about swapping my xlt wheel for leather wrapped lariat one.

2011 F250 XLT SCLB FX4 35k miles
H&S XRT Pro, Diamond Eye 4in straight pipe, 6in MBRP tip, S&B CAI, Edge Insight CTS, H&S egt kit.

A friend of mine has a lariat and he wants to restore leather wrap at upholstery shop. Leather has faded horrible within 10k miles of having truck

Any one know how to remove the steering wheel of a 2014 F250? I do not have those side holes on my steering wheel that people are talking about. Do I have to remove the lower column cover? On the steering wheel its self there isn't any visible holes to remove the air bag. All I want to do is rotate the steering wheel straight since I did a lift and installed an adjustable track bar. the steering wheel is pointing at about 5 o'clock.
