steering wheel removal

How hard is it to remove steering wheel from 2012 F350 . Wheel has controls volume controls etc. How long does it take.

Prob very easy. there are little holes on the side of the wheel you stick a clothes hangar in and it pops the airbag out.

Be sure to disconnect battery's and let them discharge so you dont accidentally set off airbag.

You should pull the airbag fuse as well I think. And wait about 20-30 minutes after disconnecting the batteries before pulling the bag. I'm pretty sure it's safe after 15 minutes but I'm not a fan of getting punched in the face, as I'm sure you aren't either, so better safe than sorry.

A friend of mine has a lariat and he wants to restore leather wrap at upholstery shop. Leather has faded horrible within 10k miles of having truck
