Supplemental cab heater

My 2013 did not come with the supplemental cab heater option, does anyone know if this can be added by the dealer? It would be nice to get heat quicker on those cold winter mornings!

There are people here that know more about it than me but from what I've read, it can be done but is difficult. As with anything, if you have enough time and money anything is possible.

I don't have the supplemental heater either, but found if I set the heater to defrost, put the fan on speed 3 or so and turn the heat up to HI, I get heat MUCH quicker than if I leave everything in AUTO.

Can't answer your question but mine does have the supplemental heat and it is nice. I get warm (not hot) air within a minute of starting up on cold days.

I got to say I had it on my 6.4 and on my 6.7 now, both window stickers list it, but I haven't really noticed that it has been working in the new truck, and in my 6.4 I think it stopped working.

I have it on my 6.4 and as indicated already it blows warm air not hot. Best performance is when fan is set to 4 bars. Mine did not work on the beginning bad connection at the battery

I've heard it costs around $2000 to have it installed by the dealer.
