Installing a 2.5" leveling kit...

So I am thinking of installing a 2.5" front leveling kit. Anyone know if this is something that can easily be done in my garage? I realize it will depend on skill level, but I was a shop and they wants like 2 hours of labor to install it! The labor cost more than the kit! They also mentioned I should get an alignment afterwards, do you all recommend that?

Thanks!

Any special tools required? I have added leaf springs, install air bags, install 5th wheel hitches so I am comfortable messing around with stuff. I have all the basic tools but nothing special.

Also, any recommendations on which leveling kit to get?

If you did all that and have a couple sets of jackstands and floor jacks. YOu should be able to do it.

As to which kit that entirely depends on your budget

Thanks Dave. I would like to be under $200 if I could and not sacrifice and ride quality if possible.
