Success story...but a few lessons learned

We'll in the last month I have moved and been out of town for the holidays. Been from TN to southern Al back to TN to all over WI back to TN and finally all settled in AL. Been a 6000+ mile trip towing various size trailers in temps -30 to 70.... Been crazy. anyways figured I'd post a success story since reading the problems forums I was certain at some point along the way I would be stranded with some sort of issue...like a blown turbo I am happy to report no major issues...I did however learn a few lessons...bio diesel gels quicker and my xdp addictive is not enough to prevent it...I got caught driving down 57 and it was a disaster...5 mph in 4 wheel on the interstate with a trailer is a nightmare. My truck had the low fuel pressure and died, started had no power, multiple stops before I finally found some diesel 911. Lesson learned: when traveling no matter what a bottle or 2 of diesel 911 will be in toolbox no matter where I go or where I am coming from! I also had to undo my custom track bar work as it was too straight and with a 10000lb trailer the truck was uncontrollable with the bump steer...made for a very exciting drive with a trailer...back to factory track bar now. I will go through my mod posts soon to post some updates...but just wanted to share a 6000+ mile road trip success story. I love cruising the problem forums as there is a ton of good info but it will sure scare the crap out of you and take ones confidence level in there truck to zero.

Great to hear. Sounds like quite a trip.

Yeah i see a lot of the issues on here. I too have put many miles on with very little issues. Just rolling 80,000kms with no serious issues. Couple small things.
