Spartan tune and egr delete ??

Ok so I have the spartan tuner and love it just want two things more and don't know what I have to buy exactly.

1st I want to monitor egts so what do I have to do for that?

2nd I want to remove the egr so which kit do I have to get? And is it beneficial or a waste of money??

1. You need either egr block off plates or an egr delete, then install a bung from the dpf into the block off plate and plug it in. Both H&S and Snyder Performance Engineering have quality kits that will give you what you are looking for. Most kits should come with detailed instructions to help you out.
2. With Spartan you need some extra pieces for a egr delete, Street Diesel Performance has the extra parts you need for an egr delete. 6.7 Ford coolant tube kit

I'm talking about the temperature probes in your dpf, I can't remember off the top of my head but there should be three temp. probs in your exhaust I'm pretty sure. You use one of them, just be careful not to fold them. You can bend the wire but don't fold it. It should look like this

Also was gonna ask is there any benefits for completely deleting the egr? I know my spartan turns it off but what's the biggest advantage if any??

The only benefits I know of are less weight and less clutter in the engine bay. I'm sure if you did a search you could find more technical data.

Yeah I have not heard any mileage gains or really anything and I've searched a bunch just wondering if those who have done it saw any increase in anything or benefits

Just spoke with street diesel and they said it's a huge benefit to remove egr because of the coolant temps will be much lower and better on everything else so ordered my kit today thanks for the help much appreciated
