2015 F250/F350

Quite a few nice upgrades to the powertrain on the '15. The speculation is 450hp/900tq with the new turbo setup. I just read where the order acceptance date is 1/15/14 which adds up since I have been reading that 2014 will be a short model year run as the final order date is 1/06/14.

Anyone have anything further to add?

I've owned diesel cars and trucks for awhile. I never haver worked on them, just drive them. I've been reading up about the wastegate. Sounds like its a good thing for these engines. So, that being said, the current configuration has a wastegate, Ford says they are doing away with it on the new 2015 6.7L. My question is, what are the pro's and con's of Ford doing away with the wastegate on the new layout?

I'm waiting for 2020, by then my warranty will be up and it might just be time to see what's available. If I don't like what the Big 3 are offering, I will spend a Butt-Load of $$$ and Fix Maxie up.
