2014 F250 King Ranch

Just brought her home. My first diesel.

Is there anything I should do for break in?

Take it easy for the first 500 miles then have fun with her !! There a couple useful tid bits in your diesel supplement guide they should have given you when you got the truck other than that its a diesel work it hard and put it away dirty the harder you work the truck the happier it is and last but not least welcome to the forum !!

Let it warm up before you rev it up, also like the book says, for the first 1000 miles don't add any thing to the oil, ( not that you ever would anyway) and don't keep it at a constant speed on the highway for long periods. Vary the speed

Don't tow for the first 500 miles either.

Just read the book!

Keep good fuel in it. Check your oil level.

Ps. I'm Doing the exact same thing! I've got 300 miles on it now. Love it more every time I drive it!

Thanks a lot guys. I'll look for the supplemental manual. Hopefully it's in the glove box!

Agreed on the more I drive it the more I like it!
