Truck Cover

Ok so in my neighborhood this past weekend, we had some concrete dust settle on the ENTIRE neighborhood's vehicles and then it rained so yea it messed up ALOT of cars.

I have been thinking about getting a truck cover since my truck is outside all the time to protect from sh*t like this but I have a few concerns...

First, I can't get over the fact that when my truck is dirty, I am supposed to believe that putting some cloth on top of it wont move the dust and dirt particles on my clear coat and scratch it. That seems impossible for it not to happen even though the covers are advertised to not scratch. I think they know your car will be scratched eventually and you wont notice so they make this claim. I feel like I can only put it on just after I clean it

Second, which ones are good? Water, weather, sun, etc. proof...

Heres a pic so you can how much it sucks. I have already washed, clay barred, polished, and sealed my truck once and looks like I will have to do this again. The concrete etched my glass so when it's wet it shows spots until dry. My paint feels rough as hell. Vinegar is supposed to help and appears to have on the paint but not the glass. Insurance call coming tomorrow....

Help me find a good truck cover please!

That sucks! Anybody going to pay to have the fixed?

You are correct about the truck cover and dirt. The trucks surface has to be perfectly clean or it will scratch up the truck pretty good. Plus even when clean the cover will blow in the wind and even do some minor scratches that are easily removed.

I have the one made by Covercraft, it is called the Reflec'tect Cover.
