Clearance Lights in the Grill

I want to put some clearance lights in the grill, but don't want to spend the un-Godly amount for the raptor set through Ford. I found these for 7 bucks a piece. They are LED and require a 3/4" hole for the grommet. Any ideas on where to put them or how to fasten them? I thought about just drilling for 3 of them into the flat part of the grill on the upper portion below the "Super Duty" and then just wiring them to my parking lights. Any thoughts?

Not dumb at all. I can't help but I'm curious for those that have ideas. Seems like it would look cool.

Me too.....I'm just not envisioning it yet. It seems fairly simple, and they are small....so it shouldn't be too gawdy.

Here is what others have done... I think it looks better than round LED's LED clearance grill lights (Raptor Look)

I'm sure you could fab up some kind of a mounting plate that goes on the backside of the grill... looks pretty easy.
