Best intake and thoughts

Is installing a cold air intake a good mod to do? This will be the only mod i plan on doing. Everything else will remain stock. Looking for some great feedback and what brands to consider. Thanks in advance!

IMO if that is all you are going to do I would save your money. I don't think there are any gains to be had on a stock setup.

Agreed. The intake side of things isn't where the restrictions are at - it's the DPF, Cat/DEF, and EGR that are choking the motor, not the intake side.

I'm also not a real big fan of the oiled single-ply "performance" air filters that come with most CAI kits -- when you look at the factory engineered pleated filter and consider the amount of square feet of filtering material involved, it's already flowing (and cleaning) a lot more than most would think.
