heated seats come on automatically??

I have a 2012 full load F350.Has fact.heated and cooled leather seats.
When using the remote start will the seats turn themselves on automatically?
Im now using the remote starts on chilly mornings, and I noticed the heater was on when I got in once or twice[has the elec.heater option]
I came out of a late model Duramax and at around 7deg. the seats would come on with the remote start feature-and turn the heater on...
If anybody knows anything about this pls chime in! Thanks!

I believe they come on under 30 degrees Fahrenheit.

On my 13 the climate control goes off what you saved as my temp. Don't know if the 11-12's have that but basically in the winter you store my temp as a hot temp and heater comes on with remote start. In the summer just the opposite and ac comes on. My seats have never come on with remote start tho

My heated seats and cooled seats will come on with remote start depending on the temperature.

Tested mine yesterday and I guess my seat warmers do come on with the remote start too. It just doesnt really feel warm unless comparing to other parts of the seat so I am guessing that they come on at the low setting.

2013 Platinum - My seat and steering wheel heat both come on with the remote.

Heat turns off with key on.

Bought this truck in August and it was set up like that. I have not checked if this can be deactivated or not.

Heat comes on regardless of outside temperature.
