18 in Wheels vs the 20 in

Have a 12 F350CC SRW with 18 in chromes and the factory michelins. Which believe it or not are starting to cup with 12K miles on them. So I guess I'm gonna swap em out but contemplating going to the 20's. Other than being a more expensive tire what are the Pros and Cons of 20 in wheels and tires. Will the fuel mileage be affected? Handling, ect.

I have 13K miles on my truck with 18's and have rotated the Michelins 3 times. They'll wear evenly if you do. At least mine are!!!

18" wheels are the new 16" wheels. Wheels are slowly getting bigger due to the need for larger brakes and a subjectively better "look". Go with 20s. 20s are classy.

Well thats just it. The 20's in my opinion definately look better. However, they darn sure cost more, like up to $80 per tire, and wanna find out how they wear and handle.

I have the stock 20's with the Michelins on my lariat and love them. I hate the look of anything bigger than a 20 though. I rotate every oil change and they are wearing equal all around. I don't know how the 18's would of given me in MPG but I average around 19 MPG with mixed town and highway driving.

I personally think 22s are the best looking....I cheap out and got 18s I like them but wish I would have just waited longer...but knowing now, I wouldn't go with anything smaller then a 20...when my tires are done I'm selling my 18s and go to a 22
