so I have had hid's in my stock lenses for about a year( ya ya I know I should of got retrofits) I am getting flashed steady, how does a guy aim his headlights? I would like to point my left one down and to the right a bit...
Find a wall that has at least 50 feet of flat ground behind it. Pull up within 2-3 feet and put an "X" in the middle of each headlight using tape. Then back up straight 50 feet and adjust the head lights right at the "X" marked on the wall. This get all vehicles pretty close!
I prefer the Harley Davidson look, blacked out without actually tinting and losing visibility. I took my headlights apart, painted them, then put me back together... Cost $10
There is a crazy vertical adjustment screw that takes a philips head screwdriver but you will need about a 3 ft extension to adjust while on the truck. Its located on the inner half of the headlight assembly on each side. Kinda hard to get to. Hope this helps.
