Has anyone recently purchased a stripped down xl 4x4? The prices I am getting are all over the place.

A stripped down XL crew cab diesel 4x4 stickers for around 40k, so I'd say invoice minus rebates should put you around 30k

6.7 L Oil Consumption

6.7L engine owners, what is your oil consumption rate* 1qt every 1500-2000 miles ? (* weight & brand of oil used) I am taking delivery of a new 2014 F-350 next month, and after my 1000 mile engine break-in I was going to start using Rotella T-6 5w40 synthetic. I have a 4000 mile trip planed after my engine break-in period, with my old 2000 6.8L V-10 "Gas" F-350 I would use 1 qt every 1300-1500 miles. All helpful input is valued
Thanx, DPK

FYI, you are about $5,000 short of MSRP for a 2014 F250 Diesel crew cab short bed 4x4 with no options whatsoever.

I was just on their website to build a new loaded to the hilt and was $69k +. There are no current rebates/incentives. Well at least in my area anyway.

BTW, I would never buy one.

Here's one for $38,700, about as base model as you can get unless cruise control and the mp3 player are optional.

Ford : F-250 XL in Ford | eBay Motors

Oops.. forgot this was the 6.7 forum. Add $10k for the diesel

I got my Loaded '13 F-250 CCSB for $52 and change OTD! Keep shopping and stand firm with the dealership, one of them will cave.
