What happened to the gear display?

On my 2011 there was a display to show what gear the truck was in. It was in the little center screen display. On my 2014 it's not there. Anyone else notice this?

Tap your +/- Manual Shift buttons on the Shift Handle... they'll show up.

Its there. Push the + sign on the gear shifter, it should pop up. You can turn it on and off by pushing the + button.

That doesn't matter. The "-" doesn't toggle the gear display. It will only toggle the gear display in Drive "D" if you press "+" for on or off after it reaches "6". It won't even show up in Park "P".

Ahhh. Idk why I thought I couldn't get it to pop up unless I did the +/- in neutral or park

Mine doesn't stay on any longer after having the dealer perform the trans reprogram for a TSB. I have to turn it on everytime I put it in drive now.
