Ford Supplied Rental Car under Ford OEM Warranty?

Does Ford supply a customer a rental car for warranty work that must be performed for longer than 8 hours if the customer only has the Ford OEM warranty (3yr 36K warranty)?

I have my truck in for service and this is a Ford issue so I would like to have a rental car until it is fixed. I think GM gives you a rental car if it takes more than 8 hrs to fix or overnight. I know luxury brands do but it's added into the cost.

Anyone know?

I guess the answer is no???

http://www.ford.com/resources/ford/g...13Warranty.pdf

"Ford and your dealer are not responsible for any time or income that
you lose, any inconvenience you might be caused, the loss of your
transportation or use of your vehicle, the cost of rental vehicles, fuel,
telephone, travel, meals, or lodging, the loss of personal or commercial
property, the loss of revenue, or for any other incidental or
consequential damages you may have."

I guess you have to ***** and complain to maybe get one.

Can anyone confirm?

Not that I know of......as for the luxury statement....Ford should. The last time I checked, my Super Duty Lariat was more on the sticker than a lot of Lexus and Infiniti models...probably even some Beemers.

Depends on the dealer. Jarrett Scott Ford in plant city Florida will not provide you a rental no matter how long they have your vehicle. Lakeland auto mall will provide a rental car. Only good thing i can say about them.

I usually complain enough and they have gave me one the last two times I have been in there. I just had to buy rental car insurance. They even gave me an eco boost.

I get loaner vehicles on warranty work from my dealer if it goes longer than quoted/anticipated or if I have to bring my truck in again to fix the same problem it was originally brought in for. Granted, it is almost never a truck. If it is a truck, it's an F150. I've had numerous Fiestas and Focus'. Had a Taurus once too but I usually get a sub compact.

The old stedam Ford in ft meade gave me a focus to drive while they fixed the single oring radiator hose on my truck that i bought from them even tho i bought it used. No questions asked, i just said i needed a ride. It was like brand new, still had the new car smell.
