2012 F350 Crew Cab XL

I found this truck at a local dealership, new, for $39,000 out the door. Is that a good price? I know it is a lot less than what people pay for XLTs or lariats, but wondering if I am insane to think I should offer less...

Would love to get better fuel economy and a warranty, not to mention the crew cab, but a $500/month payment is hard to swallow. Just looking for peoples $0.02

Always offer less! Stupid not to. Tell them that you're serious and you have your ducks in a row. Then say your more comfortable at 37k and when they say they can't go any lower say you need to go and think about it lol. I'm found that the more time you spend at the dealer going of the truck the more they will negotiate.

I would love to, but seems that around here (AK) they want mid 40's for a loaded truck even if it has 140K miles on it...Absurd if you ask me. Maybe I oughta look down south...

I don't think you will find that kind of price on a clean truck with clean title anywhere.

The 2014's are rolling down the assembly line now, I would offer a lot less for a 2 year old truck even if it is new....

Yeah, I argued with the sales guy. He kept complaining that they would be taking a $3,800 loss. I told him, no one wants to pay new truck pricing on a two year old model, especially with the 2014's arriving soon. I don't think he is hungry. I found 2013's down in WA for $36K...

I was about to post the link below to support BIG Laing's comment, then read down and saw the branded title...Oh well. I would still do it if it were a little closer.

I didn't notice you were up north. That one in WA sounds like a good deal, even if you have to drive it home.

What dealership have you been working with? I've always had horrible luck with Kendall Ford out in Wasilla, but love their service department. I do all my purchases at Cal's on 5th. I've purchase several trucks from them and they've always taken care of me. Their salesmen at the gambell store are a bunch of vultures.
