Auto Door Locks

Is there a way to get all doors to unlock when you put the truck in park but leave it running? Everyday I drop my kids off at my parents house and I leave my truck run, get out to grab the kids and the doors are always locked, its very annoying. My Chevy and Dodge both unlocked either when put in park or after the driver door was opened. Thanks

Mine all unlock when I open the drivers door. Might be a setting you can enable.

Um, I don't know about that... I will check tomorrow morning. Ya might have to make a habit of hitting the unlock button while getting out if it doesn't work like you want.

Yep, you are right. With the engine running and tranny in park, opening the drivers door does NOT unlock the rest. With the engine off, all the doors will unlock.

The master unlock switch is close enough to the door handle, just remember to hit it when getting out.

I was afraid of that. I guess I will have to remember to hit unlock before I get out.
