Towing question

I have an 13 f250 and I'm looking at towing around 10k off the bumper and I'm wondering if I should get a weight distribution hitch?

Definitely, might even be a good idea to look at a Class V hitch as well.

Mine is a Class IV, same as on my 06 F250, that one I did get a Reese V for, kinda a pain having to use that sleeve to make the 2.5in into a 2in, but it lived up to its name "The Beast".

Yea mine is a class V. So would bags eliminate the need for a weight distribution hitch?

Don't forget that even the class V that's on it still has a limit on how much tongue weight you have. IIRC mine says 850 lbs. You'll probably have 1000lbs on the tongue if loaded correctly.

My 26' travel trailer weighs about 7,000 lbs and the tongue weighs in at 1000 lbs.

A wdh will help in that aspect.
