How do you verify if your 2011+ has the 400hp/800tq ford tune?

Build sticker was from 1/2011, so not a 2010, but if you cant tell by the build date, any way to verify by hooking a scanner up to it? Any other way to tell?

Take it to the dealer to get the update. Even if it wasn't 400/800 to begin with, the update will make it 400/800.

BTW it is free.

Any particular TSB# or such that needs to be announced at the dealership for this update?

This can be done by hitting the +/- sign on the gear shifter when in park

Mine was updated the day I bought it. That was Sept 2, 2010 so I would assume that yours has it. The unfortunate side was they fried the pcm when they tried to update mine. Signed the papers and was told that I could not take it home for a week!!!

Glad I found this... Took My truck in to try to adress a couple trans issues. also asked if My truck had this 400/800 software and if not please perfom. I was told the tech wanted the 1.0 hour to even check it to see if needed it and I would owe the $125 even if it didnt need it.....I LMAO....I would have paid if it needed it but I declined... Pretty sure He's on here too. I was hoping to try to get in good with him, case of beer or whatever since were in the same industry but I guess not.
