New to me Truck Build

Well last Friday I picked up a 2011 F350 Lariat.
This will be a thread basically for me to keep track of mods and repairs. And I figured why not let you guys join in on the fun?

Here's a picture from today right after I got my tool box in.

And here's a few of my current mods that just got delivered today at Noon.
Do you guys run cover on or off?

And the last for today

I've got 5" exhaust waiting in the garage for Wednesday when I have an extra set of hands. And this weekend I'll be cleaning up the engine bay by getting rid of that hefty EGR Cooler.

So far I love the truck, only thing is I'm not a fan of the way it shifts from 2-3 while driving around t
In town.

Anywho, looking forward to updating this regularly.

That's a sweet truck, glad you got it.
Is it hanging from 2-3 during a shift? That seems to be pretty common, I'm planning on calling the service dept. tomorrow morning. I don't know of any TSB's out for this yet.
As far as the S&B, I think most folks are taking the cover off.

if your going to take the cover off buy a sock for the filter . And the gear change from to 2-3 is a pain in the *** . to be honest i would to a trans relearn it will clean that up pretty good . bake and paint your headlights . it is a moderate pita but well worth it in the end

Forgot to upload this photo from yesterday.
Christmas in July!

Well today I was sitting outside admiring my new ride and noticed this big ugly thing hanging from the bottom

Closer shot, any idea guys?

Well since that piece was falling out, I figured it'd be safest to replace it with some newer piping.

Love how it sounds, also love the vane sweep at idle!
Not crazy loud, just right.
