HID/Stock Light Question/Issue

I just installed Morimoto HID's in my truck and have the fogs working for now until I get the correct headlight bulbs from RTS.com. Anyways, I just noticed that when I open my door and my lights are on auto, the amber parking lights turn on and so do the fog lights.

Question is...

For those of you with stock headlights/fogs, when you open your door and your lights are set to auto and the button pulled out for the fogs to turn on, do your fogs turn on?

For those of you with HID's, and the same scenario as the above, do your fogs turn on?

I don't think this right and would think the ballast/lights kicking on and off EVERY time the doors open would be bad for them.

I want to see what you guys have before I call RTS tomorrow.

Anyone? Any input would be appreciated.

If you have a stock setup and you have your fogs to turn on with the auto headlights, and you open your door, do they turn on? I found out by looking at glass door in a shopping center.

I want to add, this only happen when the key is set to on, engine doesnt have to be running, just the key turned. The fogs dont turn on with the door if the key isn't present.

With the key in the ON position, engine not running, the knob set to auto and popped out for the fogs to turn on, when I open the door the fogs turn on.
