Console shifter in F-250?

Does anyone know why Ford won't/doesn't/could have a console shifter in the F-250's? That would be so sweet!

I loved the console shifter in my F150. One of the main reasons I had to have a lariat. Definitely wish my 250 had one.

It makes sense to not to offer 2 different shifter options.

You put it in Drive, you put it in Park.

It's not like a console shifter would make you gearjammer.

I agree that they aren't a necessity but I like them better. If you tow or drive where there a lot of steep hill's, its much easier/comfortable to have your arm on the console and just press the manual button. I really like my wife's Explorers set up with the rocker switch.
