Oil idiot light?

Do these trucks have low oil pressure lights? The manual seems to indicate that there is a light on the speedo cluster but I have never seen it when starting the truck.

Just don't know if it's there but burned out or does it only show up on the information screen when low?

Todd

I didn't see mine either during startup. I looked in the 2012 owner's manual and found there is also an "Oil Diluted" light. I have no idea what that looks like either. It isn't even mentioned in the diesel supplement.

It probably comes on when it senses a problem.

You all have the screen on the dash so I'm sure it's programmed to come up on the screen and go I to limp mode if the problem occurs.

Thanks for all the info. Would have thought that I'd at least get some sort of idiot light at pre-start.

Only truck I have ever owned that didn't have a oil pressure gauge. It certainly would be know how much oil pressure these motors produce.

My light will come on after about 10-15 seconds when I turn the key to the on position without starting the truck. It shows a big message in the center cluster info screen.
