Just Purchased 2013 F250 6.7 in Mexico WOW!!

I live and work in Mexico so decided why not purchase here. I made the decision a few months back when I went into my local Ford dealer. One of the first things I noticed when looking at the truck is that it is built at the Kentucky Ford Truck Plant just like all those in the US. When I opened the fuel door I had a real surprise. No DEF tank or fluid to fool with! Since it is retrofitted for Mexico, it doesn't have all the US required emissions stuff attached, and I suspect will never do a regen! Since Mexico is still on high sulfur diesel fuel, it will run fine both north and south of the US border. I am really looking forward to see what kind of fuel economy this baby will turn out. I have a trip scheduled to the Midwest in August-September so that will give me a good idea. Presently have 123 miles on the clock.

Just sold the 2000 7.3 with 226,000. I drove it both sides of the border for over 13 years and finally had to import it to Mexico as they would no longer give me a vehicle permit. I figured when I upgrade, buy in Mexico and now I'm glad I did.

Jcain, you may have a point there, but with high cost of living, high taxes, cold winters, high medical/dental costs, why would I ever want to move back?

My 2013 had a sticker price of $58500. Was yours listed in pesos? And how many pesos would that be?
