had my 6.7 stolen on HOT tune setting..comments or suggestions.

had my truck stolen a few days ago and was recovered the next day after a few gas station robberies and trying to ram threw the doors of local gun store in reverse it was recovered on side of teh road out of diesel,, i wish i could have it total but doesnt like theres enuff damage, damage is rear bed , tailgate , taillights and bumper, so it looks like i will have to keep it, anyway my main concern is how the 5 thugs that stole it drove it with the mini maxx on the HOT tune.. anyone have and ideas or suggestions on what i should have checked at the shop engine and tranny wise??

We were just talking about these trucks being stollen the other day. I'm curious, how did they get in to steal it and get it started?

I really don't have an answer for ur question, but I'm curious how it went down.
Thanks

If they're "Professional" thieves they can get into any vehicle and start it and bypass most security measures. Even the chipped key can be over ridden. I saw how they do it on America Undergorund. Where a journalistactually went out with thieves to see how they do it. They actually have a special electronic device that they plug into your control module and can easily start your engine. They will have to break the steering lock but other than that it's easy for them to take any vehicle.

Sorry to hear about your truck being stolen

Wish law was still eye for an eye...if i ever saw someone breaking into anyone's car, nice or POS, i would practice my right to bare arms...

Thieves anger me beyond belief. Sorry to hear about your bad luck. I would cry if that ever happened to me. (knock on wood)
